I’ve been noticing a trend in Traveling Nurses over the past few months when it comes to choosing housing stipends or company housing.
Before I reveal my findings, I’d be interested in knowing the preferences (and more importantly the reasons for those preferences) of Traveling Nurses when it comes to choosing housing options.
So, which will you choose for your next Travel Nursing (or Allied Health) assignment, and why?
A) housing stipend
B) housing paid for by your Nurse Staffing Agency
I have my recruiter work up which is financially in my best interest until now. My husband has started travelling with me along with our 4-legged child, a 3yr old chocolate lab. So we are buying a motor home and will be traveling in it. So I will be taking the stipend each time.
