The Ambulatory Services sector is currently accounting for over half of the new hires in healthcare. The other largest area is elective surgeries bringing in more OR positions. This year will see a rise in Bariatric and elective surgeries as the economy returns. Some hospitals that typically see a rise in the number of surgeries starting in mid-November and experience the drop off by the end of the year are stating that the patients are still flowing in.
